SERVICE SUSPENSION NOTICE
Please read carefully

Dear SwitchPoint Customer,

There have been important developments concerning SwitchPoint Networks system in your area.

As you may have heard, SwitchPoint has evolved from a company that builds and runs networks itself into one that develops high-speed technology for sale to other companies who provide these services directly to the customer.

We regret to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to suspend service in your area effective August 31, 2001. We apologize for the inconvenience this will cause.

In appreciation for your having been a SwitchPoint customer, service for the month of August will be provided at no charge.

We are cooperating with city officials to give any assistance we can in identifying companies that can provide high-speed Internet access to your home. Please do not disturb any SwitchPoint equipment currently in place; it could be useful when another operator restores service to your area.

Between now and August 31st you should make arrangements for an alternative Internet service provider. Our staff is able to provide you with some information we have on available service options; please call us at (801) 491-6800 with questions on this or any other issues related to service suspension.

Also, we will be happy to forward your e-mail messages to a new e-mail address when you get connected to a different service provider. Please inform us of your new e-mail address as soon as possible by sending the information to info@switchpointnetworks.com.

We recognize that this action likely will be disruptive and frustrating for you. Again, we apologize and thank you for your patience and understanding.
