2560. Daniel Warner III

HISTORY: Daniel wrote a rather extensive record of both his Dane and Warner ancestry. (Bartlett, J. Gardner, Simon Stone Genealogy, pp50-1.) The couple produced ten children, all of which were born at Ipswich, Massachusetts:; Warner Manor, pp 16.

HISTORY: Warner Manor, pp 25; During the sixteen hundred period, an English promoter, John Mason, secured a vas grant of land that he named New Hampshire. The Connecticut River Valley and the Merrimack were situated in the midst of the land. The french and Indian Wars placed the valleys swuarely on the fighting front.
Late in 1727, the Bay Colony Legislature conceptualized a plan, which mandated that surveyors lay out tiers of land for fortified townships. These towns were referred to a "defense towns," for their purpose was to provide protection for the new settlers against Indian intrusion. Thus, Chesterfield, Walpole, Charlestown & Westmoreland were established.
A scant twenty years later Joshua Warner and his family traveled from Harvard, Massachusetts to Westmorland. Joshua became an important official in the community governmental structure for the defense town known as Westmorland.

DEATH: Dorcas Adams Warner died at Ipswich on 13 May 1749. Daniel survived her by five years, passing away on January 20, 1754 (at age 82 years, 4 months, and 15 days) in the community of Ipswich. 2572. Roger, III Conant

WILL: Roger died in 1745 leaving a will dated 16 Sept 1745 in which he named all his children, except Roger (who had deceased)-- but naming Roger's three children.: A History and Genealogy of the Conant Family by Frederick A. Conant, 1887, [p 160-1.

BIRTH: Conant, Roger III, was born the 10th day of March 1668-69, and was baptized 23 May 1669 at Beverly, MA.
Orange Manor, Page 89, shows Roger born 1668-69.

MARRIAGE: Warner Manor, p. 89; Riger narrued Mary, daughter of Capt. Thomas and Mary Raymond on25 April 1698. He (Roger) was admitted second at North Church on 4 May 1718. In 1719, he bought land in Concord, MA: They had ten children which are listed as Ebenezer, Roger, Mary, Abigail, Israel, Lydia, Josiah, Sarah, Mehitable and Thomas.
